My Background

Red Dirt Euro and EV is the result of my lifelong passion for all things electro-mechanical. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved taking things apart and putting them back together. After literally growing up in my Dad’s auto repair shop, I spent nearly a decade working full-time in the industry.

While I loved the work, I was always interested in learning more about the nature of machines. At 31 years old, I left my career to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology at Oklahoma State University. Studying engineering taught me to see machines from the designer’s point of view for the first time. It opened my eyes to an entire world of new possibilities for mechanical and electrical systems. I fell in love with the field of mechatronics and found a passion for blending mechanical systems with digital controls.

After graduating, I spent about 18 months working as a design engineer in the heavy equipment industry. While I loved the technical aspects of the work, I found the stationary nature of the job incompatible with my personality. I love working on machines. I love the smell of brake cleaner and the click of a torque wrench. I also love the challenge of solving complex electro-mechanical problems, and the deep satisfaction I feel when I am able to to help someone by restoring their vehicle to working order.

I opened Red Dirt Euro and EV because it gives me the chance to serve my community while spending my days doing something I love. I do not take the trust my customers place in me lightly, and I am committed to operating according to the highest ethical standards. Give us the chance to show you why Red Dirt Euro and EV should be your neighborhood auto expert.
