Mini Repair and Service
Mini is a British automotive brand that was founded in Oxford, England. The original Mini Mark I vehicles were sold under the Austin and Morris brands starting in 1959. In 1969, Mini became its own brand and the Mini name replaced Austin and Morris. These cars, and later versions, were a fixture of the 1960’s British automotive scene and heavily influenced passenger cars built in the second half of the 20th century.
Mini went on to produce the Cooper line of performance models along with the Clubman and Countryman models. The Mini Cooper and Cooper S were both used successfully in rally racing between 1964 and 1967. After the 1960’s, Mini changed hands several times as the British Motor Company (BMC) merged with Leyland Motors to form British Leyland, then the Rover Group. BMW took control of the parent company in 1994 and re-launched the Mini brand in 2000.
Modern Mini vehicles are known as the ultimate compact cars, blending stylish exteriors, well-equipped interiors, and relatively high-powered drivetrains. Mini offers several turbocharged models with exceptional performance characteristics. If you want a compact car that offers the performance and comfort of a luxury sedan, Mini is an excellent option.
